Work for the week 11/5

Hi all,

I hope that you are all keeping safe and well. I want to compliment everyone on the fantastic work completed to date. I’m blown away by the outstanding work completed by all.

Below is a list of work for the week of the 11th of May.

Fun Friday

This week’s fun Friday idea is to get out exploring the birds in our locality.   Now that we can travel 5km from our house you might be able to think of an area where you could see a variety of birds. Try to record their names and where you saw them in your copy using the images below to identify the birds if necessary.

Revision-

Keep revising your tables, Work on the 5’s, 10’s and 11 times tables in particular

This week we are going to focus on revision of the maths topics covered throughout the year.

Complete pg 167 and 168.

Complete this like a test and mark yourself with a score once corrected. It should provide feedback on topics we may need to revise.

Can you also please let me know what you are reading at home. If you can’t download the file go to word book online and research her. To access World book online you need to access it through scoilnet as I have shown you in school previously.

Escape Rooms are a really great way to enjoy STEAM challenges. This challenge is lots of fun for all ages and you can play on your own or as a team. Use your maths, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to solve the clues. The game takes about 15mins to play, we recommend keeping a piece of paper, pen and calculator handy - no magic wands allowed!
