We are extremely proud of these fantastic young ladies. Last year they decided to raise money for a wonderful cause - Dogs Trust. They are all mad about dogs so they made posters and miniature dogs and sold them to staff and students. Their friends were very generous and bought lots of items and even donated some of their own money too. The girls received a Thank You pack from Dogs Trust. Well done everyone!
It wasn't easy to get a dry day for the Sports Day this year but finally it arrived. The 6th class had arranged lots of fun activities and we couldn't wait to get started. First we had ball games. Then we had penalty kicks. Next we took part in the circle games. One of the most fun parts was the three legged race. And our favourite thing of all, getting wet. We had some lunch to give us energy to get going again. Last of all we had the Tug of War. Every class had a turn. It was such a fun day that w e're already thinking about next year.
It was exciting to welcome our Hurling Coach, Cian back again this year. We started off with a game of Bulldog to warm up. Then we practised some new skills. At the end of the session we had a very competitive match! Cian will be our coach for the next six weeks. Hopefully the fine weather will last that long as well.
